Caldwell Machine & Gear was founded in 1990 by Sargent and Maria Caldwell, with Sargent on the shop floor and Maria running the back office. They started by going to local manufacturers, asking what they needed, and taking on one-off work.

Today gear cutting is our specialty, alongside a wide range of precision machining. We’ve grown deliberately, investing where it counts and keeping costs disciplined so our customers’ costs stay that way too. We’re a focused, responsive operation, built to take on demanding, low-volume work.
